With the dizzying displays and fabulous onslaught of London Fashion Week kicking off I thought I’d bring you the latest hair trends for AW16 straight from Jenny Packham, Public School, Leanne Marshall and Charles Youssef as seen recently on the runways of New York Fashion Week.
First up:
Charles Youssef – A Zen Ponytail: a loose ponytail with conspicuous elemental features inspired by Japanese street style.
Leanne Marshall – Cobra Braid: an intricate knotted braid based on the macramé cobra knot and reflecting parisian elegance.
Public School – In and Out: the “in and out” faux mini bob is a smooth and full style that easily tucks inside and outside a collared winter coat.
Jenny Packham – Wave of the Future: an elegant style with a party twist – a richly waved section of hair falls dramatically over the right eye, inspired by the hedonistic club scene of the 80’s and 90’s.
Which of these looks will you be sporting?
Me? I for one won’t be waiting for Autumn/Winter ’16 to rock some of these! I’ve already been sporting the In and Out Faux Mini Bob at the mo and I’m loving the idea of the Cobra Braid look, with a bit of Wave to the Future thrown in for other events and occasions.
Thanks for stopping by!
